Ards & Kircubbin Dental Practice can be located on Regent Street, Newtownards and Main Street, Kircubbin. Dr. Anne Abraham is the principal dentist, working alongside a committed group of talented associates and professional support staff.
Dr Abraham and her team always strive to deliver a painless dental experience which involves providing a gentle approach to dentistry, as well as a stress-free environment that helps even the most nervous patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit.
Ards & Kircubbin Dental Practice offers a wide range of services and products including: teeth whitening, crowns, veneers, orthodontic treatment, sports guards, anti-snoring devices etc. At each visit, a full assessment of your teeth and existing restorations are carried out. We also assess the gums and surrounding structures to test for gum disease. From time to time we will recommend you have x-rays taken to help us view areas that we cannot see directly.
At Ards Dental Practice we have a chair lift to aid access to our first floor surgeries. In Kircubbin Dental Practice we have one ground floor surgery available.

Anne Abraham - Practice Principal

After gaining my degree from Queens University Belfast in 1980. I started my dental career in Newtownards @ McCammon's Dental Surgery. I am now the practice principal and owner of both Ards and Kircubbin Dental Practices(Den.Co.Down Ltd.) I am delighted to have such a fine team of dentists and dental care professionals assist me in providing the highest standard of care we can to our patients.I have now retired from the NHS but still enjoy seeing my Denplan and Private patients and overseeing changes to improve the care we can provide.I feel very proud to lead such a great team in both Ards and Kircubbin Dental.
Hazel Lang

Hazel graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 2000. As a highly motivated and conscientious dentist, Hazel joined the Ards Dental Practice team in 2005 after working in Carins Base Hospital and the Flying Doctor Service of Queensland. With a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and orthodontics, Hazel has obtained a Masters degree in orthodontics with Warwick University, and is currently providing NHS and private teeth straightening for children and adults respectively. Hazel offers a variety of orthodontic systems such as Inman Aligner, discreet Clear Aligners and fixed systems including Damon Braces.
Hazel enjoys and is experienced in the restoration of implants working with multiple implant systems ensuring all treatment options are carefully offered.
Heather Edmonds
BDS (Glasgow 2007) GDC 114110
After gaining her degree in Glasgow, Heather returned home to Northern Ireland and joined Ards Dental Practice in 2009. Heather is a very popular member of our team and is highly regarded by her patients for her kind and gentle manner. Heather enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially periodontics (maintaining healthy gums). She treats patients under the NHS and privately. She offers Denplan Care to many of her delighted patients and is a great 'family dentist'
Sarah Bond

Sarah joined the team at Ards Dental Practice in January 2022. She has gained over 20 years of experience in general practice, during which time she has been highly regarded by her patients due to her gentle and reassuring approach. Sarah provides a full range of treatments with particular interests in preventive and aesthetic dentistry.
Callan Anderson

After gaining my Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, I remained in the north-east of England, providing mixed NHS/private dentistry in Durham. In addition, I was the domiciliary dentist for all of County Durham, providing care to those in the community who could not access a practice. I am currently undertaking my Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies, and look forward to offering this service to patients in the future. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in preventive, aesthetic, and paediatric treatments. I also enjoy working with anxious patients to help them overcome their fears. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and travelling.

Pamela Phillips

After working in general practice Pamela joined the community dental service in Edinburgh assisting patients with physical, learning and anxiety needs. She also worked in hospitals giving dental care for patients with bleeding disorders. After returning home to Northern Ireland, Pamela worked briefly in the community service here before joining us at Kircubbin Dental in 2011. Pamela is very popular with her patients; placing an emphasis on prevention of dental disease with minimal intervention. She is a very competent and caring dentist.
Naomi Steele

After Naomi completed her VT year she joined our Ards practice in 2010.Naomi then moved closer to home when we moved to larger premises in Kircubbin and joined our team at Kircubbin Dental Practice in 2011/12. Naomi enjoys being a family dentist, especially helping children and the elderly with their dental needs. Naomi is popular with her many patients and is dedicated in providing them with great care.
Christine Reid
BDS (QUB 2018) GDC 277875
Christine originally qualified from QUB with a BSC in Biomedical Science in 2013 before qualifying with a BDS with Honours in 2018. She started her career in a dental practice in Belfast before joining Ards/Kircubbin Dental Practice in May 2021. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, such as crowns, bridges etc and as such plan to undertake further postgraduate courses in this. Outside of work Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and chasing after her many animals.
